This blog is intended to capture my triumphs and challenges during the triathlon training process. I'm a married, empty nester who works full-time and attempts to balance life while pursuing triathlon. I've been running since 2009 and was introduced to triathlon in 2011. In 2012, my focus will be on becoming stronger mentally and developing more confidence. Once I do that I KNOW crossing the finish line and receiving the medal is a matter of time. Hopefully May 20 to be exact. :-)
While passing the time, I'll be sure to register as an Athena, wear coordinated ensembles, keep my garmin & ipod charged, tires filled with the appropriate amount of air, and search for a swim cap that doesn't result in my having wet hair. Bottom line = Have fun while doing this.
Feel free to share your experiences and information.
